What is Dichroic Glass?

Dichroic glass is a specialty material originally created for aerospace technology. It’s coated with micro-layers of metals and oxides that cause the glass to reflect one color while transmitting another—creating a magical color-shifting shimmer. In jewelry, it’s loved for its vivid glow, holographic look, and the way it transforms in different lighting.
