Ocean Wave Dichroic Fused Glass Necklace

This striking handmade pendant features flowing layers of blue and green dichroic glass, arranged in bold diagonal sections that shimmer like ocean waves. The rich cobalt base creates depth, while the metallic green and aqua pieces light up beautifully under any light source — shifting from bright seafoam to deep emerald as you move.

Carefully handcrafted in my home studio, this pendant is kiln-fused, fire-polished, and fully annealed for long-lasting strength and a glossy, glass-smooth finish.

This piece captures the movement of water — light dancing on the surface, waves crossing, currents shifting. The diagonal design gives it motion and energy, while the shimmering metallic textures feel like sunlight on the sea.

What Makes Dichroic Glass Special?

Dichroic glass is created using microscopic layers of metallic oxides that give it a luminous, color-shifting effect. Originally developed for aerospace technology, it reflects vivid, shimmering colors that change with movement and light. Each fused piece is one-of-a-kind—no two will ever melt or pattern exactly the same.
